Reviving the Spirit of Blab with Go Brunch (A Guest Blog Post By Stacy Braiuca) There’s something magical about the energy of a late-night community hangout. For those of us who were part of Blab back in 2015-2016, you’ll remember how the platform came alive after dark. Conversations went from casual to deep, collaboration flourished, and friendships were forged across time zones. Blab was more than just a platform, it was a place where people gathered to talk about everything from tech and business to life and culture. We often pulled all nighters without even realizing it. As Blab veterans many of us have been searching for something that recaptures that sense of community. Now, I’m excited to share that GoBrunch is that platform, and it brings with it a space that feels like home, the all-night diner we call The Big Happy Biscuit. Go Brunch: New Platform - Familiar Vibe Go Brunch offers something special, blending ease of use with the freedom to create open, engaging rooms for learning, collaboration, or just hanging out. What’s especially unique about Go Brunch is its emphasis on interaction. Whether you’re leading a session or simply attending, everyone feels connected, just like in the good ol’ days of Blab. It’s the kind of platform where those spontaneous, unplanned conversations can happen. The ones that start off as simple check-ins and turn into hours-long discussions that leave you inspired, energized, and thinking differently. That spirit is alive again, and it’s housed in our new virtual spot. The Big Happy Biscuit: Our 24/7 Hangout Just like the iconic all-nighters we used to...

HOW TO FIND TWITTER INFLUENCERS A Guest Blog Post By Jenna Brandon When it comes to making buying decisions, it’s rarely ads that influence our choices. All those “buy me” messages that saturate modern web space stopped impressing us years ago. Nowadays it’s honest reviews and recommendations from independent sources that rule the day. Those “independent sources” are often industry leaders whose opinions on things are widely respected and listened to. One single tweet from such person about your company can do more for your business than the most expensive advertising campaign, especially if you’re only starting to build up your audience. But how do you get this person to pay attention to your humble self? Hopefully, this article will clear things up. Keep reading if you want to become a Twitter outreach rockstar. (1) How To Find The Right People To Reach Out To!! Getting started with influencer marketing is hard if you have no idea who the influencers in your industry are. Maybe you’ve heard of one or two, but in order to build an extensive list, you need to do some deeper research. Look for influencers among your own Twitter followers What if your A-lister is already your Twitter fan? Then he/she is definitely interested in your business and getting this person to collaborate is a piece of cake! Just go through the list of your own followers and identify those with an audience of 50K+ people. Then check out their profile and select those who share similar passions with you. For example, if you own a bookshop, look for book bloggers,...

LIVING LIFE IN THE MOMENTS A Guest Blog Post By Pankaj Narang Finally, Twitter has announced a way to share quick and interactive content on its platform with its latest update. With the rapid growth of Snapchat and Instagram, Twitter is gradually losing its title of being the “fastest social media platform”. According to the latest survey conducted by Piper Jaffray, Snapchat has become the most essential app used by teens (28%), closely followed by Instagram (27%). Twitter was at the third place with 18% of the total market share. Needless to say, with the growing popularity of Snapchat and Instagram stories, Twitter was expected to come with something new and exciting for its users. Now, you can do so much more with this remarkable medium rather than just getting to know about the trending topics nearby. With the introduction of Twitter Moments, one can narrate a story of their own using different types of content (similar to a slideshow-representation). For everyone who wants to make a Moment – starting today you can! Creators everywhere can now tell stories with Tweets. pic.twitter.com/ZJtNBoTPWf — Twitter (@Twitter) September 28, 2016 For everyone who wants to make a Moment – starting today you can! Creators everywhere can now tell stories with Tweets. pic.twitter.com/ZJtNBoTPWf — Twitter (@Twitter) September 28, 2016 Twitter made it official with this tweet, narrating the use of Moments and how one can easily give their profile a breath of fresh air with this revolutionary feature. MY TOP TWELVE TWITTER TIPS Recently I had the honour of being featured as a “TOP 10 TWITTER INFLUENCER” So I thought I would take this opportunity to expand on the ideas presented in the original article from Report Garden. “GROWTH LESSONS FROM THE TOP 10 TWITTER INFLUENCERS” So Honoured To Be Featured Here!! via @ReportGarden https://t.co/MBaL5GzfgY … pic.twitter.com/eBUC3DDK8U — Keith Keller (@KeithKeller) April 4, 2017 (1) Use Twitter to drive people to your website or blog This is probably the number one benefit of Twitter actually. It is extraordinary for driving organic traffic to your website or blog posts. It can also be used to promote your You Tube videos or your podcast series. It’s an amazing resource so it’s well worth taking the time to learn it’s secrets. (2) The “Twitter3030” Method This is one of my favourite techniques for gaining targeted followers on Twitter and developing quality relationships. Follow 30 People Per Day For 30 Days Rinse & Repeat Follow people that you find inspiring and most importantly follow their followers. Chances are if you find them inspiring, and you’re tweeting similar things, they will follow you too. I’ve had robust success with this strategy, so try this one for yourself and let me know how you go. (3) Follow People First This one really picks up where the last idea left off. Following first is a terrific way to take the initiative and really helps you to find great people to connect with. Many of them will follow you back and you...

Recently I’ve been building out the digital side of my business and I realized that I would need to harness social media in order to help to build trust around my products and the type of therapies I offer. I already had a Facebook page, so to create my Facebook fan page was a fairly simple process, but I had no idea about how to navigate Twitter nor about Twitter etiquette. The last thing I wanted to do was to create buzz about doing the wrong things at the wrong times. Why you need to listen to the Keith’s podcast!! “Crack the Twitter Code” Around 9,000 tweets are tweeted every second. That means 540,000 per minute and 780 million tweets per day! Statista.com states that in the first quarter of 2016, Twitter has over 310 million active Twitter users. These figures are huge and mean two things: (1) That I need to know how to use Twitter effectively to make the most of belonging to a massive social media platform and (2) That among all these tweets, how was I going to get my tweets seen and even better, lead to links to my website and blog, likes and retweets? Five Powerful Marketing Strategies Fantastic Ways To Build Your Visibility 1. BE THE RESOURCE NOT THE SALESPERSON. Twitter is about sharing information and resources NOT selling ‘stuff’. This may sound counter-intuitive but it is the essence of Social Media marketing. 2. WRITE A STRONG BIO. One that will inspire potential clients and joint venture partners to follow you. 3. ADD A PHOTO OR COMPANY GRAPHIC. There is significant evidence to prove that people who do this get more followers and retweets 4. REMEMBER THE 80/20 RULE – IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU. 4 out of 5 tweets should be of value to your followers and not sales related Only 1 out of every 5 tweets should be a sales related message. 1 out of 10 however is a far better ratio if you can manage it. 5. SHARE – SHARE –SHARE (This is Twitter 101). Share great articles and interact with your followers…this is the essence of how Twitter works. Brand yourself with strong graphic elements or colours Your best bet is to purchase a domain in your own name but if your name is a more common one and therefore already “taken”, you can brand a blog name or add what you do to your name.
