HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PODCAST SERIES USING TWITTER SPACES

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PODCAST SERIES USING TWITTER SPACES An Interview With Annemarie Cross   www.AnnemarieCross.com       How Do You Record Twitter Spaces?   At the moment I am using a Rodecaster Pro and I love it. Rode is an Australian company so I love them even more.  I also have one of their microphones as well.     Rodecaster Pro   I’m running that through to my computer and I’m recording Twitter Spaces via Audacity. I’m also recording via StreamYard to the various platforms that allow livestreaming.     How Do You Edit Twitter Spaces?   Now that the file is recorded in Audacity, we edit using Audacity. It’s a fantastic solution for PC users. I also know that Mac users can use Garage Band for a similar effect.  There’s a number of different platforms you can use to edit, but I primarily use Audacity.  You can download that as a free resource, and it’s got all of the functions that I need.  It has some very simple features enabling the files to be edited quite easily.   Where Do You Host Your Edited Twitter Spaces Files?   Great question.  I remember a mentor of mine when I first started my business.  I was mindful about where you build your brand, your reputation, your assets, and I use and have always used Blubrry.com.  They are a paid hosting service.  Libsyn is another one that I have heard lots of great things about.  There’s a lot of other sites that I know that others have spoken about as well.  Just be mindful that, on some free sites, you don’t own the content being shared and if they suddenly disappeared, what happens to all that great content? Something to consider if you are doing your podcast for business purposes.   How Do You Promote Your Podcasts?   There is so much opportunity to your podcast before you push record.  Think about the marketing strategy for beforehand, during, and after the show.  Identify some key things that you want to do and get those working well. Then continue to expand so that you’ve got lots of different things working together.   Do What You Can With What You Have     If you try and do too many things at once you will end up getting overwhelmed.  Just a couple of things done really well will make all the difference. You create incredible video campaigns, small snippets of video & the questions as graphics.  You then share those out to your community and that’s what we can all do as well.   “HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PODCAST SERIES USING TWITTER SPACES” https://t.co/ZmSAXxq51o Featuring @AnnemarieCoach#TwitterSpaces#SpacesHost #Podcasting #Success #VirtuallyUnlimitedAudio cc @Kyriakixt #NewYork pic.twitter.com/Qpfc1XhT0u — Keith Keller (@KeithKeller) December 9, 2021   When you...
HOW TO BUILD MOMENTUM FOR YOUR BRAND WITH PODCASTS

HOW TO BUILD MOMENTUM FOR YOUR BRAND WITH PODCASTS

BUILDING MOMENTUM FOR YOUR BRAND  The Power Of Podcasting By Guest Blogger By Lara O’Keefe     With research pointing to a shift in visual over verbal intelligence, it seems almost counter intuitive that Podcasts have become such a popular platform for sharing and receiving content. Especially when we consider the similarities to traditional radio. Both are primarily verbal forms of communication, and easy to consume with no visuals or hosts in site.  So, why the surge in popularity for podcasts when the popularity of radio essentially remains stagnant? Isn’t it pretty much the same thing?   Well, as the kids like to say these days, “same, same, but different”.   While podcasting has been around for more than a decade, it’s only been in the past few years that it’s really taken off as a preferred media platform.   Brilliantly engaging podcasts such as This American Life, Serial, and the ever informative, Smart Passive Income, have certainly helped to increase popularity and listenership, but more important to note is the fact that from a marketing and sales perspective, podcasts are inherently changing the way we do business.   WHAT IS A PODCAST?   Simply put, podcasts are a digital audio file that can be easily uploaded to the Internet and later downloaded to a device such as an iPhone or tablet.   There are a million reasons to use podcasts whether it’s for personal or commercial use, but below are my top five reasons you should be getting in on the podcast game:   (1) SIMPLICITY, MY DEAR WATSON   One of the best qualities of podcasts is...
THE JOURNEY SO FAR

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

THE JOURNEY SO FAR  An interview With Jane Jackson   Recently I was featured on Jane Jackson’s “AMAZING PODCAST” and it really gave me a great chance to reflect on the career changes that I have made over the years. I also got a chance to really appreciate those changes that were thrust upon me along the way.      I have also spent some time this week segmenting the interview into smaller themes and getting them transcribed to make it easier to listen to as your time allows. If you prefer you can follow along by reading the questions and answers.       WHERE IT ALL BEGAN (2REM FM)   Podcasting really is my thing and the whole idea came about out of my love of radio. Here’s me doing my very first radio show in March 1982 at 2REM FM in Albury. I still have a recording of that first show (on cassette - lol)     Jane Jackson: Welcome to my careers podcast, where I interview fascinating professionals who have made amazing career changes. Now, I am very fortunate to have, on the show, a twitter guru. This twitter guru is Keith Keller, who is now well known internationally as the Global Twitter Marketing Specialist. He is a popular speaker on the subject too. He’s appeared on numerous radio shows, teleseminars and webinars across the United States and Canada, UK and Europe as well as Australasia. His regular tweets, @KeithKeller, are testament to his passion for sharing the latest information about Twitter, as well as other social media platforms. He certainly has an ever growing list...
