Reviving the Spirit of Blab with Go Brunch (A Guest Blog Post By Stacy Braiuca) There’s something magical about the energy of a late-night community hangout. For those of us who were part of Blab back in 2015-2016, you’ll remember how the platform came alive after dark. Conversations went from casual to deep, collaboration flourished, and friendships were forged across time zones. Blab was more than just a platform, it was a place where people gathered to talk about everything from tech and business to life and culture. We often pulled all nighters without even realizing it. As Blab veterans many of us have been searching for something that recaptures that sense of community. Now, I’m excited to share that GoBrunch is that platform, and it brings with it a space that feels like home, the all-night diner we call The Big Happy Biscuit. Go Brunch: New Platform - Familiar Vibe Go Brunch offers something special, blending ease of use with the freedom to create open, engaging rooms for learning, collaboration, or just hanging out. What’s especially unique about Go Brunch is its emphasis on interaction. Whether you’re leading a session or simply attending, everyone feels connected, just like in the good ol’ days of Blab. It’s the kind of platform where those spontaneous, unplanned conversations can happen. The ones that start off as simple check-ins and turn into hours-long discussions that leave you inspired, energized, and thinking differently. That spirit is alive again, and it’s housed in our new virtual spot. The Big Happy Biscuit: Our 24/7 Hangout Just like the iconic all-nighters we used to...

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PODCAST SERIES USING TWITTER SPACES An Interview With Annemarie Cross www.AnnemarieCross.com How Do You Record Twitter Spaces? At the moment I am using a Rodecaster Pro and I love it. Rode is an Australian company so I love them even more. I also have one of their microphones as well. Rodecaster Pro I’m running that through to my computer and I’m recording Twitter Spaces via Audacity. I’m also recording via StreamYard to the various platforms that allow livestreaming. How Do You Edit Twitter Spaces? Now that the file is recorded in Audacity, we edit using Audacity. It’s a fantastic solution for PC users. I also know that Mac users can use Garage Band for a similar effect. There’s a number of different platforms you can use to edit, but I primarily use Audacity. You can download that as a free resource, and it’s got all of the functions that I need. It has some very simple features enabling the files to be edited quite easily. Where Do You Host Your Edited Twitter Spaces Files? Great question. I remember a mentor of mine when I first started my business. I was mindful about where you build your brand, your reputation, your assets, and I use and have always used Blubrry.com. They are a paid hosting service. Libsyn is another one that I have heard lots of great things about. There’s a lot of other sites that I know that others have spoken about as well. Just be mindful that, on some free sites, you don’t own the content being shared and if they suddenly disappeared, what happens to all that great content? Something to consider if you are doing your podcast for business purposes. How Do You Promote Your Podcasts? There is so much opportunity to your podcast before you push record. Think about the marketing strategy for beforehand, during, and after the show. Identify some key things that you want to do and get those working well. Then continue to expand so that you’ve got lots of different things working together. Do What You Can With What You Have If you try and do too many things at once you will end up getting overwhelmed. Just a couple of things done really well will make all the difference. You create incredible video campaigns, small snippets of video & the questions as graphics. You then share those out to your community and that’s what we can all do as well. “HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PODCAST SERIES USING TWITTER SPACES” https://t.co/ZmSAXxq51o Featuring @AnnemarieCoach#TwitterSpaces#SpacesHost #Podcasting #Success #VirtuallyUnlimitedAudio cc @Kyriakixt #NewYork pic.twitter.com/Qpfc1XhT0u — Keith Keller (@KeithKeller) December 9, 2021 When you...

Twitter has decided to take a shot at the trend as well so in this post we will a closer look at Twitter Spaces: What are Twitter Spaces? How to use Twitter Spaces? How to add speakers? How to end a session? How to join a session? How to share the session? What Are Twitter Spaces? Twitter Spaces is a new feature by Twitter that allows users to host, and participate in, live audio conversations. Presently, it is only available on Twitter’s mobile app. Both iOS and Android users can use Spaces. There’s no provision for web-users to access the feature. Twitter is working on creating a web version but there’s no official news on its release.. Why Use Twitter Spaces? This is a real-time communication medium enabling two-way conversation. … and you know the best part? There’s no limit on how long you can conduct a session. While tweets require you to express your thoughts within...
